Most people think it is impossible to lose 12 pounds in a month, let alone a week. However, there actually is a method that can be used to support your weight loss goals that will result in you losing up to 12 pounds in a week. The key is juicing raw fruits and vegetables. I had recently lost 38 pounds over a course of 4 1/2 months. However, during the fall and winter season, I slowly started to gain the weight back. Please understand that there is a difference between a juicer and a blender. For the cleanse, you need a good juicer that will extract all nutrients into liquid form. In terms of a good juicer, I chose to purchase the Black and Decker 400-Watt Fruit and Vegetable Extractor which is cost efficient and reliable.



You will need fresh produce to participate in a juice cleanse. I know many of you are already thinking, “fruits and vegetables can get expensive.” You are absolutely correct, however there are ways you can cut cost! Try visiting your local farmer’s market or discount grocery stores. You will be surprised that you can save a good percentage just by shopping somewhere other than your usual grocery store.


** Some days if you don’t feel like juicing or you would like to try something different, you can elect to buy a pre-made raw fruit and vegetable juice. Just be sure that the juice does not contain any additives or preservatives, is cold-pressed, and contains low sugar.


Juicing is a wonderful jump-start to healthy living. You will be amazed at all of the benefits that follow juicing. I have incorporated juicing into my lifestyle and I must say it one of the best changes I have made in my diet. If you begin to incorporate juicing, I am sure you will lose the weight and feel better while doing so.
